About The Presenter

Amy Costello

Amy Costello - Sustainability Manager

Amy Costello, P.E., is the Sustainability Manager at Armstrong Flooring, a global floor design and manufacturing corporation based in Lancaster, Pa. She is responsible for developing and managing sustainability strategies and initiatives and chairs the Armstrong Flooring Global Sustainability Steering Committee, which provides governance and sets the business direction regarding material sustainability issues. Amy chairs the ASTM Sustainable Manufacturing Sub-Committee and serves on the WELL Material Advisory. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for both ASTM International and United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and she was appointed to serve on the US General Service Administration (GSA) Green Building Advisory Committee from 2014-2016. Amy received her master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a licensed Professional Engineer who holds both a LEED and WELL Accredited Professional certification. Amy is a 2018 recipient of the STEP Ahead Award from The Manufacturing Institute, recognizing excellence among women in manufacturing.
